Beautiful Friendships
So this weekend, as much as I wanted to run off to Disneyland, I didn't. (I did get that massage though!) Instead, I spent a good part of it sleeping in, aka, being a bum. Ahhhh. It's nice not doing anything.
Saturday night, I made plans on a whim and drove up to Lyssa's new house up in Santa Clarita. Hawaiian pizza + Dogma = good times.
And after a bit of troubleshooting on Sunday, I finally fixed Rebecca's computer once and for all, just in time for her to bring it back to her folks.
Today (well tonight), John called me up to give me the contacts for a new potential client for web design work. Woohoo! More money during the summer is a good thing. Whee!
Oh yeah, and sparked by curiousity from my last post, I decided to see which diet drink would get the best result from a Mentos candy. Out of Diet 7up, Diet Coke, and Diet Pepsi, there was barely any difference. Perhaps the Diet 7up performed negligibly worse than the other two, but I only tested one bottle of each; YMMV. Regardless, I did go to the length of drilling a hole in the cap to create that nozzled stream effect. I even figured out a quick release system so it wouldn't splatter in my face upon mint release. Once I get the hang of it, I might perform my own show, choreographed to music and videotaped for your amusement.
