Sing-a-long at D*C Pirate Party ‘09?
Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day, everyone! (Yar!)
This year was my and my husband’s first year at DragonCon, and by some stroke of inspiration the Pirate Party was one of the few parties we actually made it too all weekend. We had a blast! We were also considerably drunk, so bits and pieces of the party have been drifting back to us over the weeks since Con.
There’s one in particular, however, that’s driving us both a bit batty. We seem to remember that at some point there was a sing-a-long, led from the stage but not with a band, we think. The only part of the song either of us can remember is a bit of the chorus that goes “over and over and over”, with quite a catchy tune that we’ve both been humming.
Can anyone identify this song for me? A name, additional lyrics, or even a video of it being sung would be fantastic for filling in the gaps in our poor alcohol-addled memories.
