Kalen's case mod adventure
Ok, I've decided to mod a case. I'm gonna go for a biohazard motif. plain black or grey case. I found a nice looking etched biohazard window kit. I also found some nice biohazard grill covers. I plan to get a low end cpu water cooling setup, though I'm gonna mod it to have clear tubes then use some uv reactive blue/purple coolant dye. (You know the kind you see under a uv light in movies and such.) I'll be mounting the radiator abover the cd drives pointing up (cut a hole in the top to add a fan spot. I'll also be mounting an intake fan in the top cd drive to increase airflow into the case and for the radiator to pull from.). On the bottom of the case I'll have a fan blowing air over the hard drives and into the case. One fan mounted on the bottom rear directing air up and the standard ones below the psu plus the psu's internal one. I plan to redo all the wires with uv reactive wires, maybe even the molex connectors since those are only about 50 cents a pop.
So yeah, thats what I just thought up in the past hour. all in all after this and a new mobo and psu I'll be out about 350 bucks. probably less once I get around to buying the mobo and psu since I'm just starting with the case,window and fans (about 70 bucks total since I'm after a 20 buck case).
I'm great and designing stuff like this btw, must be all that 3d modeling I do lol.
If anyone has any input (suggestions) or any good deals on socket 775 water cooling kits let me know. I found one for 80 bucks but thats as low as I've seen them.

2nd 6600 512 card ~140 (I hear you can over clock these cards almost up to ddr3 speeds.)
I was thinking this for my graphics card(s) cooling setup later on down the line when I sli them.

So this is my plan for the next year. Start off with the case mod. then later on get the other stuff, really the only things I need to use the new case would be a mobo and psu so really its not that bad as far as a custom case goes. Right now I've got about 300 thanks to birthday money plus working a few more hours now that school is out. If I get decent at this I might offer to make them and sell them.
