We ended up going to the ER yesterday with Chomp. He breathing was getting very rapid and he was much more lethargic than normal. Of course, by the time we saw the doctor he was much better. He heard music while he was being examined and started dancing. Trying to explain to the doctor how sick he was while he is dancing, giggling and flirting is rather difficult. I have a feeling they were talking about me after I left as the mom who overreacts. I am just glad he is doing better. Listening to him struggle to breathe was very scary.
Needless to say, we didn't make it to the rally to restore sanity on Saturday. We say we are staying in the area because we want to expose our kids to cultural opportunities that they wouldn't see if we were in NOrth Carolina. But, it seems like Target is what they see the most and they are everywhere. Either we need to get better about taking advantage of the city or we should move to be closer to my family. Something to ponder/talk about with the husband.
