(no subject)
Hey all.
Haven't posted in a while. I think i've become a bit of a lurker these days. Not a whole lot of ground breaking business has been happening lately. Just work and whatnot. A fair bit of drinking too, much to my delight/embarassment. Had two really great nights out last week. Dinner, then shawsy after work on Tuesday - "I swear im only staying for a bit, and no drinking". Yeah right. Ended up drunk out of my skull, getting a lift home on a rollercoaster with my housemate, and serving two dodgy, but strangly familiar looking builders the next day at work, who pointed and grinned at me the whole time i was making their orders. Still, one night of shame wasnt enough. The next night found us in Byron, drinking our way through a few nightclubs and a pub, picking fights with bouncers and schoolies and maybe an American Marine >_<, before following 4 very nice English backpackers home for beers and card games. Needless to say, I was in for a very quiet weekend - mostly due to the severe money drought.
This week has been much needed work work work...and a little play. Wednesday night was two very lovely girls last nights in town - one off to Bali, and the other heading home to Sydney for the holidays - so of course, there had to be drinks. Note: beam makes everyone very very very truthful, and Lina very very very messy...and fond of shots - which furthers the messiness. And truthfullness. Funny, funny night. I have no idea how i made it through my shift the next day. I'm still feeling queasy.
Today was a day off, which we spent snuggled in front of the teev watching the first season of Sex And The City. Love that show. Now im alone for a few hours and trying to rally the troops. Am sick of my own company already >_<
