Jeane...
Well...Last night I didn't post (obviously)...know why?...My power went out...We got out of school an hour early because apparently Hurricane Jeane was givin' us some real good winds and sure 'nough about 4 hours after I got home (just when I was about to start my homework) our power went off...So I was staing at LeLe's last night so I wouldn't miss my meeting this morning... ANYWAYZ...I had to write a poem for English -it had to be at least ten lines (it turned out 24), free verse, and about me...turned out pretty good as I usually write with rhyme and this was really my first free verse -and I was going to post it the other night but I forgot...so here it is...
I’m Not Perfect

I’m trapped here, all alone,
Emotionally pained in my own little world.
How can I make this pain go away?
Extricate myself from you, live in solitude.
This life not worth living,
Yet I still carry on.
If there’s something for me
I do not yet know what.
Sometimes I want to end it,
Right here, right now, endure it no more,
But it’s not worth it,
Not worth making my family suffer or going to hell.
And so I deal with it,
Put up with your taunts and jeers.
Just for once, can’t you treat me like a person?
Or is that too much to ask of you?
Just because I’m different, doesn’t mean I don’t feel.
You don’t realize how much I hurt,
And because of people like you, I’m like this
An evil, secluded person because you’ve made me hate.
I’m not perfect, I’ll be the first to admit,
But you have no right to criticize me;
I could easily do the same to you, and how would you feel?
Next time, why don’t you think about that?
What do you think?...Well, anywayz...I better go 'cuz I need to write the poetry explication I was suppossed to write last night but couldn't because of my power going out, plus I need to study Spanish and History and I still have Trig to do...I wanted to start working on my Poetry Project for English tonight, too...Well, I'll update tomorrow...Maybe later tonight if I actually get done... Nighty-night...
