I think there is something to be said about people who can be more than just civil to people that the rest of the world dislikes. Where has my compassion gone? Why don't I hug as much as I used to?
On another note, going to Florida was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Not just in terms of a career, but in terms of finding out for myself that I can leave what I know and what I'm settled in and still be fine. It's given me the drive to make sure that when I graduate, I try not to stick around here. I want to use the time I have before I settle down and try to start a family, to go to as many different places as I can manage. Vegas, England, Ireland, Cali, Australia, Hawaii are places I'd love to live for few years each. We'll see where that goes.
