Starscream gets a makeover.

Lookit that gorgeous jet. Starscream's sporting some new Cybertronian tattoos in the second movie. Guess he got tired of the plain jet skin he'd scanned in the first one and wanted to show some planetary/robo-alien pride since he's not worried about blending in.

Despite being a Seeker (AKA basically a Cybertronian capable of flight), he's armed with some really heavy weaponry and presumably armor to match, since he's shown taking on Autobots several at a time, on his own. Of course, most of the Autobots are smaller Cybertronians, and Starscream's armed with missiles in either form, among other things. Although he does get his arm ripped off at one point, and reconnects it later. He can certainly take a beating.

I'm still rather disappointed he and Jetfire (AKA Skyfire as he's known here) didn't even have any interaction; Starscream was once Jetfire's apprentice and BFF back when they were robo-geek scientists together. Before Starscream was, you know, seduced to the dark side by Megatron. And the rest is history. Goddamn Optimus should've at least thanked Jetfire for the new body in the movie. :P

As always the Starscream/Megatron interaction was perfect, though. Hugo Weaving (a growly Hugo Weaving) voices Megatron, so I really need an excuse for Starscream to run into Elrond in Hogwarts Hocus for some cracky confusion. Glorfindel-mun and I already decided he'd recognize Tolkien Elves as decidedly not-human and Vilya as an incredibly powerful artifact, and that would only add to his intrigue.

This is where he does the EMP burst that disables all (non-Cybertronian?) electronic devices and communication in a pretty huge, miles-wide radius.

Lol looks like an angry cat.
