It's taken several years of preparation.
On Halloween, the barriers between worlds are just thin enough. On Halloween, the fools will accomplish exactly what he wants.
In cities across the world today, several bored and apathetic teenagers are preparing a ritual. A ritual they have no business casting, as it does far more than their feeble minds can comprehend. All they know is that it's a ritual intended to exult Satan. Each teen is doing this, not out of true devotion to the Infernal Realms, but because they hope to shock their parents.
Goth carefully cultivated this internet group of friends, guiding them towards deeper depravities. He knows that all of them have lied about some of the acts they claim they've committed: "EbonyNightfire2717," aka Kevin Mallow of London, loves his dog too much to sacrifice it, and it lives happily with him still. "Darkshadow81675," William Sexton of New York, might hate his younger sister, and he might hate his parents for insisting on calling him "Billy," but he never stole into their room while they slept, stole blood from them, and then drank it as part of a dark ritual to defile their souls. And "DeathSkull8974," Ivan Kruyev of Austin, certainly never murdered a homeless man.
But Goth has pretended to believe all of them. And he has led them to go deeper and deeper into these beliefs.
So he has allowed them to learn of a great ritual. None of them truly believe it will accomplish anything, but he knows they will go through with it anyway.
And once they finish it, their cities will be filled with all kinds of supernatural evils, all based on their various lies.
Goth leans back from his computer, onto his throne of bones, and smiles. They should be getting started any minute now...
