Hypertime: April First

The Monitors observe the various universes. One for each universe.

But then there's Hypertime. Hypertime, which weaves in and out of various other realities. Some of these shards of timelines are critical to the support of the crystalline fragile structure of some universes.

But there are many that are just plain silly.

Here are but a few.

Tula opens her mouth. And then closes it and throws her hands in the air.

"You know, I was wondering why all my clothes were getting stretched out. Now that we've got the how, can we go double or nothing for the why, Shortpants?"

Dick grinned, and held up a dress. "Do you think it's me?"

[aqua_chic]

"Not your color honey, trust me." Tula nabs the dress and tosses it over the foot of the bed. "You know, you could have just asked me to take you shopping."

"You don't mind?" Dick asked. "I mean...it's not that I think I'm trapped in the wrong body or anything..."

[aqua_chic]

"Sweetie, if you think you're the only poor unfortunate soul who I've found trying on my fishnets, you got a whoooooole 'nother thing coming."

[titansleader]

"Oh?" Dick asked, holding up a different dress for her inspection.

[aqua_chic]

"Better color, but not what you're looking for," Tula says. "And nuh-uh. I'm not naming names. But let's just say that if we ever need an all-girl chorus line with no girls in it..."

"Honey? Have you seen my lipstick...?"

[titansleader]

"Garth!" Dick admired him. "You look ravishing! What color lipstick are you going with?"

[violeteyedmage]

"I'm trying to find a good shade of red that will go with these pumps," he says, turning his ankles to show the shoes.

[aqua_chic]

"Did you check in the linen closet, Lover? I usually keep the reds in there," Tula says, and points at Garth, looking over at Dick again. "Note that Garth doesn't steal and stretch out my clothes." Because if he did, he would be so couched. Forever.

"You mind?" Dick ducked his head. "I just..." He grinned mischievously and hugged her.

Tula pats him on the back and rolls her eyes skyward. "I forgive you, Shortpants. But if I catch you at it again, I'll put you in a poodle skirt, give J.D. a camera, and convince your wife to let me put the results up on the internet."

"You think Kory hasn't seen me in a poodle skirt?" Dick asked, winking. "I'd steal her clothes but they're too big."
