Thunder teleports in to the top of a rooftop, getting a bird's eye view of what's going on before she accidentally attacks an ally.

Below on the street Superman is bursting out the front doors of a library, the entire inside of the building torn apart by martian vision.

If you're going to use ocular powers at least you should look like someone who actually HAS them. Surely destruction is it's own reward, but there's still something to be said for accurate imitation...

Superman's eyebeams, for example. They're red. HEAT vision.

Just like the burst that slams in the back of the Superman impersonator from behind as the Man of Steel swoops in, ready for action. "Not funny."

The martian shrieks in a way Superman surely never would as he's struck in the back, but the blow is not quite enough to keep him down.

That's the que to start to real party now isn't it?

Pushing off from the ground the martian flies up and across the street, gunning for the woman standing on the rooftop. He makes a grab for each of her limbs all at once, attempting to grab hold and pull her in front of his body.

Maybe with a civilian in the way Superman will have to get a little more selective with the heat-vision...

Thunder isn't a civilian, though. Not anymore, and she can take a lot of damage if she needs to. She struggles to free an arm, upping her density to increase her weight in the alien's grip while she tries to kick free.

If they fall out of the sky, she plans to use it to buffer her fall. It's as good an exit strategy as any.

The martian struggles with the sudden weight shift, recoiling from the first kick that connects with a howl. Leave it to him to pick the victim that's really a hero! Damn!

He tries to tighten his hold but can't seem to get a good grip with all of her struggling.
