Todd really didn't need the doors. In fact he didn't even use them. He was there as soon as the signal went out, sliding out of a shadowy patch on the wall lurking around. He'd wait until more people showed up before coming off 'wallpaper duty'.

Mary hoped she was on time. There had been a thing with a dump truck, 2,500 units Oreo pudding, and a box full of kittens. Don't ask for details.

Jay stands near Alan, ready to greet those who come in.

"You're right on time, Mary," he smiles.

Michael had to admit, this was a good project, looking forward to the next generation and beyond, and making something happen. He approved wholeheartedly.

He hung back for the moment, letting the elder members take charge.

The chimp steps up beside Terrific.

"Hey, Mikey," he greets. "How have things been?"

"Ohmigosh!" She'd been on the team but still, every time they all get together, when they are all in the same place her heart sort of skips a beat. Men and women..and chimps she has admired her whole life. And she gets to be there! In the same room!

Maxine is still awestruck and more than a little fangirl about all of them, so she slips in and does her best to contain her enthusiasm. Tommy has helped with that, he could calm her down or at least let her know when she was getting over excited and going motormouth.

So far she'd kept her mouth shut, lips tightly sealed and a painfully forced subdued smile.

And Tommy is there to do just that, wrapping his hand with hers and giving it a little squeeze. She was cute when she was fangirling, but there were so many there that Tommy felt a little bit overwhelmed. So many heroes.

Travis phases in through the ceiling. Much as he's 'the rookie', compared to John, Hal and Guy, he's had the ring for years now... and now a new partner. Lots to process... but maybe this thing with the JSA might help get things moving... he hopes.

Pieter came in from another room, looking over a medical chart made from a special ink that glowed phosphorescent under his goggles; he had copies in normal ink as well. He looked at Travis and smiled a bit.

Well at least I'm not the only one now. He walked to the corner where Michael was and decided to wait for what was going on next to his old friend.

Ch'p settles down near Travis and Tara. He is pleased to have people around him. His old friends are glad to have him back, but there is a distance now too. The world has moved on... again. This time, though, Ch'p thinks that might be a good thing. He has patrolled a sector alone, and done it well. He has also been through rough times with good friends. He is ready for something new. Something about this group and a fresh start feels right to him.

Ch'p smiles and gives a little wave and a wink to Mary as he waits for the next stage of this gathering to progress.
