Themyscira, it seems, has retreated from this realm. At least, that's what Hippolyta has been able to suss out thus far. One of the first things she's done, after having been resurrected, is to try to locate the island nation which she ruled over for so many years, only to be unable to actually find it.
The next thing she's done has been to try to track down her daughters, or her sister Amazons.
Even that has been difficult for Hippolyta. Diana is nowhere to be found, as is Donna, as is Cassie, her daughters' young protegee.
Having exhausted these resources, the newly resurrected warrior queen has done the one thing that has made the most sense to her - gone to the next place that may give her some of the answers which she seeks, as well as a place to clean up.
She has arrived, rather unexpectedly, at the JSA brownstone, still looking for all the world like a queen who has clawed herself out of the grave. Despite this, though, she has somehow managed to still seem regal, powerful, and strong.
After waiting for a very brief moment, Hippolyta lifts her hand and rings the doorbell, praying to any of her gods listening that a friend is there to let her in.
