Feeling the Effects (Open)
A resounding crash echoed through the tower. Superboy was in the training room, training like a madman. Currently he was beating on some of the training robot Cyborg had built. His face was a grimace of rage as he tore off the arm of one of the robots, and beat another robot over the head with it. He was training like this because of what happened at Clearwater, three days ago. He lost a lot of friends in that blast, and he was working out that frustration. But there was more to it than that. It was survivor's guilt.
'If I had only been a little bit stronger, or a little bit faster', He thought to himself as he cut a robot in two with his heat vision, and flew over to another, delivering dozens of punches at super-speed, 'Then maybe they wouldn't be dead. Maybe Cassie would still be alive.' He looked around after the robot he was beating on was a pile of twisted metal to see there were no more. Then the emotions of everything that happened in Clearwater caught up with him, and he started to cry.
