Extant didn't have to die. But there was a choice made by one man.
Don Hall has come to Khandaq to speak with him.
Dawn insisted on coming along, and is piloting one of the Titan jets. Holly's along for the ride, too -- which Don appreciates. There's something about Holly which helps provide a nice balance for his psyche.
He sits by the radio, waiting to be signaled as they enter Khandaq airspace -- though, from what he's read, it's more likely for the guardian of Khandaq to approach directly when he sees it's a Titan vessel.
