As much as Terry wanted to just go home and sleep or to check in with his friends, there was work to do. Like catching a helicopter with a malfunctioning tail rotor before it crashes into busy city streets below.
That's where he is now. With a bubble of violet energy surrounding the falling craft, the first male Star Sapphire's trying his best to stop the fall. He's slowing it but he's probably going to need a hand stopping it completely. Thankfully today the ring was nice enough to not put him in something stripperiffic. He's just picked a violet and white version of what he saw Kyle wearing during the final battle of Blackest Night.
The helecopter slows further, as blue-white light surrounds the helecopter, reinforcing the violet aura.
A woman in a costume akin to the one worn by Superman for a short time several years ago falls in beside Terry, focusing her energies into helping the helecopter make a gentle landing on the ground -- and for bonus points, in a side alley where it won't disrupt traffic.
Once the helecopter is safely on the ground, she smiles down to the people looking up at them below.
"Is everyone okay?" she asks.
When the pilot gives a shakey thumbs-up, the crowd cheers. She pats the other hero on the shoulder. "I'm just glad the two of us were able to be here to help." She turns to the other hero, speaking quietly enough that the people on the ground can't hear.
"I hope you don't mind me giving you a hand -- you looked like you could use it."
The sudden extra aura startles Terry but he's not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Once the helicopter is set down, he lands and lets out a little breath of relief. "Man, that was heavier than it looked," he chuckled. The crowd cheering has him especially thankful that he's not in anything stripperiffic.
He glances over when whispered to and gives a little smile. "Don't mind, needed it. Thanks...Superwoman?"
She smiles, shaking her head, somewhat embarrassed by the comparison. She was nowhere near Superman's class. "No... Strange Visitor." I really need a new name...
Terry takes a deep breath. "Well, she used to be. Now there's a whole corps off Star Sapphires and we're good guys now," he explains. "Green Lantern even got married to the Star Sapphire you're probably thinking of."
She considers this. He doesn't seem to be lying... and he did save that helicopter.
For the moment, she'll trust her gut, and not go after him.
"Sorry," she says, relaxing a bit. "I've... missed a bit. I've been dead a few years." She gestures to the costume. "I got this costume from Superman, it's true, but I'm hardly on par with him."
Terry shrugs, waving it off. There's a pause when 'been dead' registers with him.
"You just came back recently? When that mess with all the Black Lanterns finished up?" he blinks. "Oh man. This Lantern stuff just keeps getting more complicated the longer it goes on," the blond shakes his head. "Eh, don't say that. Let actions speak. At least that's what makes sense to me. I mean, one of my good friends is a GL. And I'm hardly on par with him...but instead of worrying about it, I'm just going to go out and do what we superheroes are supposed to do. If someone wants to say I'm not on par with A GL, that's their problem."
"There's a bunch again," Terry supplies helpfully. "And Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Indigo Lanterns too," he adds. "And there may only be one guy calling himself Superman but there's Superboy, Supergirl, and a few others. Whole lot of super people," he glances up. "I should do a little research sometime, see who else is out there in case I ever have to team up."
Terry pauses for a moment before laughing. Shaking his head, he flashes a grin. "Okay, that's the best joke about all the corps I've heard yet. Most of the others are all lame rainbow puns."
"This is surprisingly good information to have," Terry remarks. When how he looks gets mentioned, Terry makes himself a quick mirror. After a few moments of examining himself, he sighs.
She takes his hand. "When was the last time you had some sleep? Before last night?" With all the death and resurrections -- if he hadn't had some sleep yet, it's no wonder he looks so exhausted.

When asked who he is, Terry taps the symbol on his chest. "Star Sapphire. Or one of them anyway. We're like Green Lanterns but not."
