After what had happened with Ivy, Talon had developed a new plan altogether. He would assemble the worst of the worst to help. He had understood that he couldn't rely on the so-called heroes to make sure things were okay. So he had Raven take him, after losing Ivy, to this world's STARLabs. A place where he could "borrow" a Motherbox. After that,

Inertia

Even with a Mother Box, Inertia isn't an easy guy to find. Being an incredibly intelligent speedster with future technology, he's good at hiding when he wants to hide. He does keep watch for whoever might be looking for him though. So when a Boom Tube opens in the outskirts of Manchester, Alabama, Inertia is waiting for whoever it is. He's hiding, waiting to see just who it is before making himself known. He's got no intention of letting one of those Black Lanterns trick him like he'd seen them do.

Talon walks out, half burned costume, and falling off mask. He steps out, and unlike most heroes, declares everything.

"Inertia!" He yells without hesitation. "I'm Talon. I used to be a badguy. Right now, the heroes might be kind of reliant on us to save their pathetic asses. You willing to listen to a proposal?" He paused from there and waited for the speedster to appear and reply.

Inertia's eyes widen behind his goggles a moment. His first thought is that maybe one of Bart's little friends has come looking for him. The costume and declaration change his mind quickly though. A few seconds of consideration and a check with CRADYL's sensors to make sure this guy is among the living and Inertia nods.

He speeds out and appears in front of Talon, arms crossed. "Start talking."

Inertia arched an eyebrow slowly. "And here I was thinking someone cloned him and completed the set," he remarked.

His eyes narrowed behind the goggles again. "I am Inertia, not Kid Quick. And unlike Kid Flash I can hold still. You're here about those Black Lanterns so let's hear your proposal."

Talon decided to fix things quickly.

"If we don't fight them, we're all screwed, man." He said, very matter-of-factly.

"Ultimately, we're all dead if we don't fight. And we can't let that happen. I know you can't. If you're anything like me, you've been beaten, and threatened, and treated like crap your whole life, and want to be your own person, without others telling you what you should be. So take that chance, and let's save all our asses."He looked Inertia dead in the eye.

"How about we just do our thing, and survive?"

Inertia listened quietly, arms crossed and eyes scanning the other young man for any signs of hostility. A lot of what Talon says did make sense. And while their situations weren't exaclty the same, they were enough to get the speedster's attention even if he offered little to no signs of it.

"What's the plan then?"

"Well, we get the best badguys and not so good guys together, and fight to just plain live." Talon said after a few moments.

"Seriously, we have to join together in this bit, or else everyone dies, even the people we care about."

Inertia stared for a moment and then sighed. He muttered something in Inerlac.

"Fine," he eventually replied. "Someone's got to make sure you all don't make things worse," he grumbled. Besides, he could use some diversions i he had to quickly get away from any Black Lanterns.

"Awesome." Talon said with no real hesitation, offering a hand. "Welcome to the team, as it were." He smiled, happy something was working out, as it were.

Inertia hesitated a moment before giving a firm handshake to the offered hand. "Let's just go before any of the Black Lanterns find us here."

Talon opened a boom tube quickly and motioned to the speedster to enter.

"Go and wait while I get us more backup. I'll join up soon."
