"At last, a worthy opponent!" And Crane and his fear gas nowhere around to spoil it.

He charged straight for Wog, yellow energy bleeding off of him.

A pleasure. Especially since, at the same time, said Bolovaxian got to meet Arkillo's fist. Which was enhanced by being attached to one big scary muthafucker.

The blow is powerful enough to knock Kilowog back to the ground... but getting knocked down is no particular issue. Getting up again is what's important... particularly if one kicks Arkillo in the chest on his way back up.

That took Arkillo down, but not for long. He was up in a flash, laughing.

"Your death will be GLORIOUS!"

A fist with yellow spiked knuckles went right for Wog's face.

He catches the blow in his massive mitt of a hand. The spiked knuckles penetrate the shield, digging deep into Kilowog's hand... and he squeezes. Yes, it digs the spikes in deeper... but it may also break some bones in Arkillo's hand.

"No one's dying today, poozer."

He takes it. Blood is pouring from his nose and out of his mouth, and several teeth are loose.

He squeezes harder. "NO ONE'S DYING TODAY," he replies, pushing harder.

"Arkillo!" Scarecrow points out. "We have our orders! We've done what we came for..."

He moves towards the exit.

Arkillo snarled. He was looking forward to this... but orders were orders.

"Very well..."

The spikes were retracted and he kicked Wog in the chest.

Kilowog flies backward from the kick but he's on his feet again in no time, his speed almost incongruent to his size.

But he lets Arkillo vanish, instead moving to his fallen comrades to make certain they're unharmed.

Voz's heart is beating too fast -- it will explode if this keeps up. He pours his will into his ring to help detox the GL's system, then moves on to help Guy in the same way.
