Stan is a small man, a terrier with a pit bull of a personality. Perfect for the job that has been handed to him. He and his agents will keep the Director safe. Behind him are his two senior agents. Marshal Marshall Mann, son of one of the legends of the service, and a legend in his own right. Tall and lanky, the poet lawman with a heart of philosopher's gold. Next to him walks Marshal Mary Shannon, a Gibbs in female clothing - long blonde hair, feisty personality, and never, ever wrong about her witnesses. Downstairs in the now cordoned off section of the garage wait agents in unmarked, black SUV's; they will take the director and her partner to an undisclosed location. Not even Gibbs will know where they will be.
This wrinkle in the plan is new, unknown to Alex and Jenny, though Gibbs knows that Jenny is keen enough to know a change was coming. No one trusts the agents currently assigned; not because they are dirty but because no one knows where the leaks were beyond Vance. Until the conspiracy is uncovered and Svetlana located, Jenny is not safe.
