Walking Away ... for now (rp/fic written for meet_thunder)

She's checking email when she sees it and her nightly "don't worry" note to Abby is interrupted by her sister's rant on their shared community. She reads it once, then twice, and is torn between typing off a childish response and turning off the computer. She wants to respond, to write a pages long letter but it would fall on blind eyes and the proverbial deaf ears. Jenny will come down from her emotionally damaged high horse in her own due time and until then, all she will hear from people telling her anything that varies from her opinion is blah blah blah. But her eyes fixate on the one line that shows just how broken her sister is. "You watched her get married ..." She wants to reach out. She wants to talk about what it was like to watch Leroy marry because she was too damned stupid to walk away in the first place. she wants to find some connection. Instead she turns off the computer and walks into her and Leroy's bedroom and collapses next to where James is already asleep. She misses her sister. It was a choice she made, but she misses her sister.
