Today I got my period for the first time in 2 and a half years. Obviously my Implanon is getting close to the expiry date so I'm not worried that it's malfunctioning or anything. However it's making me feel like crap. Not PMS kind of crap but crap as in psyche repercussions. It's like the symbol of femininity, something I've been happily warping the boundaries of for the last 2 years. Now it's mocking me "Haha you're still a bitch no matter how much you walk your man-swagger."
