So Dr. Smokler and I had a nice quite night together. Then my friend stopped by with a book for me. Get this, it is entitled "Dancing with Cats". Has anyone else read it? It is the funniest book ever. It is stories and pictures of people and their cats dancing together. Just thinking about it is too much! I asked Smoke is she wanted to dance with me last night night but she said she would prefer to meditate and be introspective then act out her deeper emotions. Damn cat is no fun.
Today I went to MLK Library (DC Central) to buy some used books. Never in your life will you see egg heads and intellectuals fighting each other. It gets damn near wild wild west. I have been spending over $100 on books a week since the New Year began and I really can not afford it. It has become like an addiction! The librarian is like a drug pusher. He says he keeps the good stuff behind the counter "just for you" he says with a glint in his eyes. He knows what I am there to score .... Planning, Architecture, Civil War, History!!! I need to cut back. Do they have like an AA for book folks? It is gotten to the point where I just can't stop. Soon you might see me on the streets of DC begging for just another paper back.
