DragonBall, DragonBall, DragonBall
I haven't made a new entry in exactly one month. ^^;
Anyway...today was pretty awesome and filled with lots of DragonBallness. (Yes that's a word.) Woke up at 7AM to listen to a few podcasts at DaizenshuuEX, since I've missed a few these past weeks, then later went out and bought the new DBZ game, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, aka Sparking Neo in Japan. ^___^ Haven't really gotten to play it yet *looks at my brother* but it's okay because I will be playing it tomorrow. I ended up spliting the pay with my brother so he paid half and I paid the other. (Though because I paid tax, the game is more mine than it is his. XD) The guy at the video game store knew what game I was talking about even before I finished saying the title of the game. This makes me wonder if the game's pretty popular where I live...
The game's pretty cool, the story mode's like a mix of Budokai 1 and Budokai 3 (where you fly around and stuff). One of the coolest things is how you can fly around and have the characters follow you. Like Piccolo following you around in the Saiyajin Saga for example. I myself can't wait to get to the Freeza saga...then I can chase down Kuririn for the DragonBalls with Vegeta. >D
Oh, and the game has the option of switching to the Japanese voices, which is awesome.
Chichi: You can switch the voices to the original Japanese. But that wouldn't do you any good.
*laughs* Oh I beg to differ.
One thing that I don't like about the imported American edition is the music though. I was watching one of the videos on YouTube from the Japanese game and they had music from the TV show on the game. I think it's something that really makes the game more exciting for those that know the music. But they took it out, which makes me sad. ;-; I also REALLY hate the cover. I have nothing against Trunks being on the cover, I'm happy that he's on it but it's so ugly! Why couldn't they have kept the original cover? It had a nice mixture of characters and looked awesome. *sighs* I also did not like the intro to the game. It's just like they ran out of ideas and threw in random stuff that had no point. o_0 I can't stand the 3D stuff either and they should have had a new song...
The ending is scary weird... o_0 The start menu's okay though. ^^;
Yeah... Anyway, I should start on my history homework now. ._.
BTW, I haven't forgotten about those birthday gifts I promised. (You two know who you are.) My initial plan was to make you guys a banner but I decided that it wouldn't be much of a gift so I'm working on some other things too. ^^
