That's Carla Ulbrich on the left, in the dealers room. I have her newest album now, only days old.
So, no longer a con-virgin. :) Lots of things going on there, though it didn't start on a good note, the guest of honor, Robert Aspirin died just before he was supposed to leave for the con. Robert wrote a lot of very entertaining SF, and I will miss him.
I also met Luke Ski, and some other less famous folks, saw all sorts of cool costumes, and generally had a great time. I should have started going to cons earlier!
Anyone know where I can find a pair of engineer style boots, 12 wide? It's important that they have no logos or other text on the outside.
