Yoochun doesn’t have plans for the future. He feels time brush at his fingers, kissing him on the cheek and then running away, and sometimes he smiles, waving- sometimes he turns away from the traces of footsteps, tears a merciful veil covering his eyes.
Yoochun believes in moments, those small eternities in-between heartbeats, he believes in Junsu’s gasps and laughter, in the way sun reflects in Junsu’s eyes when they call him, challenge him, move him.
Yoochun doesn’t waste time on making plans. He feels his now press against him, catching his breath in a kiss and then running away, and he laughs, stretching. Junsu smiles, asking him to wake up, get up, do his best, give his all-
He does. He brushes at Junsu’s fingers, following-
He knows, one day he’ll fall asleep forever. One day, his time will end.
He wants to be able to smile then.
