Every hint was there, every too-long touch, every word that was loaded with more-than-brotherly affection...
It breaks his heart to know that his blindness has hurt Yunho so much.
He wishes that there was something he could do, something he could say to make up for his ignorance, but it's too late.
He can't give a heart away that's no longer his. It wouldn't be fair.

That night, he creeps to Yunho's side as the older man sleeps and whispers in his ear to make amends.

He pours emotion into the words, gives the older man a part of himself that Jaejoong doesn't know.
It's poor consolation, but it's all he can muster.
