I’m walking down these deserted streets - lost, confused, hurt.
I come upon your beautiful face - tear streaked, choking on sobs.
I turn around, ready to flee - although I don’t know why - and you cry louder, harder.
I continue on, eyes blurry with unnoticed tears - and I continue on.
Because I don’t know you - and I have to know why my heart constricts upon seeing you.
