Summary: A state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight, amount, etc.
Not many would agree with Yunho were he to say Jaejoong is the perfect equipoise. Balance means a state of equilibrium. By default, Jaejoong is wild and unpredictable.
But when Changmin is sarcastic and cranky, Jaejoong is cold and indestructible; refusing to back down until Changmin’s anger has burned out.
And when Yoochun is lost, confused and scared, Jaejoong knows exactly how to find him and comfort him. He brings Yoochun back down to earth - to them.
And when Junsu is tired and worn out, Jaejoong knows how to manipulate with smiles and teases until Junsu’s eyes shine bright and his laughter echoes off the walls.
Yunho nods his head and laughs when interviewers tell him he keeps things in good balance. But he knows it’s Jaejoong who’s the real puppet-master. He’s anything and everything the members need him to be: a perfect blend -balance- between the Yin and Yang.
