Kyuhyun doesn’t believe in love at first sight at all. He doesn’t even believe in love. He keeps everything to himself and talks to nobody. The teachers in school gave up trying to talk to him. They knew nobody can make the boy speak but, they tried anyway, they sent their most adorable student to the quiet boy. The teachers were curious at what would happen and followed them but, they were caught by Kyuhyun and were sent away by Sungmin. The very first time Kyuhyun spoke to Sungmin, he was really shocked. Sungmin didn’t expect the boy to talk to him, yet. Although all Kyuhyun said was ‘the teachers are following’ and nothing else, that very sentence was enough for Sungmin to melt. For the next hour, nobody talked. Nothing happened until Sungmin shouted. He found Kyuhyun looking at him with some concern in his eyes. ‘I forgot to introduce myself!’ He bit his lip and he looked like a small and innocent boy. Kyuhyun can’t help but find the latter adorable. ‘I am Lee Sungmin.’ He held his hand out so he could shake hands with Kyuhyun. It took Kyuhyun a whole minute before shaking hands with the latter, ‘Kyuhyun’.
For the next few days, Sungmin’s s schedule was to make the boy speak. Sungmin tried really hard to have conversations with Kyuhyun, but the latter simply ignores. Sungmin told himself he should tolerate; he mustn’t throw a tantrum at the boy. That very day, he lost control of his feelings, he was in a very bad mood, and he was frustrated. That very day he exploded, ‘why can’t you talk to me? Am I that scary? Or am I that irritating to you that you don’t even want to look at me?’ Kyuhyun felt his heart break at the latter’s words. Although he isn’t close to Sungmin, he didn’t wan to make him cry nor does he want ignore the latter. He just doesn’t like to make friends, because each time he makes a new friend, bad things would befall his new friend. He doesn’t want that to happen to anyone anymore. He would rather be alone, lonely than to cause another innocent person to be injured. Kyuhyun was lost in his memories while Sungmin stood there not knowing what to do. Sungmin really did try his best to communicate with the latter. Sungmin just stood there, leaving his arm around the boy to assure him nothing is wrong. Kyuhyun knows, he knows people around him care for him. He really wants to open up to Sungmin but he is worried about what would happen to the latter.
Slowly, Kyuhyun feels he has accepted Sungmin following him all around school. On his way to school, Kyuhyun realized that his head is filled with Sungmin. He smiled to himself and picked up his pace to school. He sat there waiting for the latter to arrive. He took out his laptop and started his game since he is an hour early for school. As time go by, students starts to fill the empty classroom. Still, there wasn’t Sungmin. Kyuhyun starts to get worried; he grabbed his bag and barged into the teacher’s room demanding them to give him Sungmin’s house address. Kyuhyun doesn’t know how he looked when he barged in but he could see the teachers were very terrified.
Kyuhyun left school juts like that; he ignored the callings of the teachers. He took a taxi straight to Sungmin’s house. He hesitated at the main door, he wanted to back away from the door but he walked nearer and pressed the door bell. Minutes later a guy came to open the door; he looked very familiar to Kyuhyun.
‘Who are you looking for?’ The guy asked. It was then Kyuhyun realized that he is the famous solo singer, rapper and dancer, Lee Hyukjae or Eunhyuk by others.
‘I’m looking for Sungmin sshi.’
‘He is not feeling well. Do you want to drop by another day?’ Kyuhyun thought for awhile before deciding he should take a look at the latter.
Kyuhyun stood by the door, Sungmin is still sleeping soundly. He quietly went into the room so that he wouldn’t wake the latter up. He tried to make as little noise as possible but, he dropped his book by accident and unfortunately, he woke Sungmin up. Kyuhyun was in so much shock when Sungmin’s big round eyes looked into his. Instantly, his face turned bright red. Both of them looked at each other for a very long time until Hyukjae came in asked if they needed anything, Kyuhyun politely said no, while Sungmin requested for 2 cups of orange juice. After Hyukjae left the room, Sungmin asked why Kyuhyun is here; the latter couldn’t find any excuse and turned bright red. Sungmin giggled at how adorable Kyuhyun can be.
Kyuhyun confessed a few days later, in the weirdest way possible. They started hanging out more often and Sungmin realized Kyuhyun is actually talkative. Kyuhyun doesn’t want to think about what would happen to Sungmin anymore. All he knows is, he would protect Sungmin no matter what happens. Kyuhyun now knows how it feels to have someone you love deeply right beside you.
