Guardian Angels

Summary: Kangin believes that guardian angels do exist.
10 year old Kangin, believes that guardian angels do exist. He thinks as long as you pray hard enough, have more sincerity, your personal guardian angel would appear before your eyes. Kangin could always feel someone’s presence even if he is all alone somewhere, he knows somebody is watching over him, but he doesn’t know who. Being a very curious 10 year old boy, he came up with a plan to lure his personal guardian out.

Kangin tried everything he could think of, shouting, pleading, asking, begging, praying, telling, and threatening. Just when he decides to give up, something came across his mind. He took his bag and left the classroom, ignoring the people behind him that was calling out for him. Standing in front of a busy road, he remembered his mother once told him not to cross the road alone because he might get hurt. Kangin remembered it clearly, but he wants to see how does his guardian angel looks like. He decided to take the risk, he took small steps until someone grabbed his arm.
‘Don’t go..’ the person that grabbed his hand said.
‘Why?’
‘You might get hurt.’
‘I have to get hurt in order to see my guardian angel.’
‘Your guardian angel?’
Kangin nodded his head, ‘I feel that he is always there, but I don’t know who.’
‘If you get to see your guardian angel, would you stop trying to hurt yourself?’
‘Yes.’
The boy sighed and took his hand. He brought him to an empty apartment.
‘I am Leeteuk, your personal guardian angel. The reason I’m allowed to be with you anywhere you go is because you believe Guardian angels do exist.’
‘So you heard all my calling?’
‘Loud and clear’ Leeteuk smiled showing his dimple.

They sat in the living room facing each other. Kangin felt his heart was beating at a extreme speed. The whole room was filled with awkward silence but Leeteuk quickly broke the awkward silence by starting a conversation with Kangin.
