Message to DBSK

I know after the MKMF and seeing Changmin cry, everyone's spirit is probably down. But I think we can channel our sadness/disappointment in better way than to bash the other winners or say how disappointed we are that dbsk didn't win.. because really, a few awards is NOT going to take away any of our love for them. I wish there's a way for us to ( Read more... )

I know this is kind of irrelevant but did Changmin cry because he was sad? I saw the clip; it was when they won the Best Album of the Year award. I thought he cried because of the award. Am I missing something? :(

It's all up to interpretation.
No one REALLY knows why he was crying.
If it was a sad cry or a happy cry.
I'm pretty sure he'll be saying it was a happy cry... but :|

Hmm, I see... I say it was because the Best Album Award since it is one of the three big awards in this ceremony. But yeah, up to interpretation. It just never crossed my mind that it was a sad cry ^-^'

He was happy and grateful, didn't you see the when he applauded? Changmin isn't a baby and he certainly wouldn't cry over losing. Please.

Okay so that's how you see it, FINE WITH ME. :D I DID say it was up to the person watching, didn't I?

But I didn't say he was sad over losing either, or that he was a baby. D: D:

Obviously you haven't seen my previous comments about this. But I'm not expecting you to. They've already been buried in the other entries.

Anyways, DBSK are wonderful artists; the fans know it, and they should know it too. Awards are like grades; they are only one small component of success, and in this case, great artists.

I hope that analogy makes sense. I suck at this. T_T

Changmin was obviously happy about winning. Those were tears of joy!

From what I've read of their body language, they were neither happy nor sad; they were relieved.

I think they were already fully briefed to expect the worst, which is why when it was announced they won Best Album, Jae did that sigh of relief onstage, and Min, though he was crying, the corners of his lips were slightly up, hinting at a smile. It's all these microexpressions which are really hard to see, but they're there.

I actually think Yunho was mad, to be honest. The way he said "Cassiopeia saranghamnida!" at the end of his speech sounded like he was suppressing rage.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that he sounded mad ^^'

I think that of course they would've WANTED to win Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Male Group etc., but what artist wouldn't? But I also think that they're mature enough to realize that no matter how awesome you are, you can't always win everything.

Not sure if my point got across but meh.

You know what? This was actually what I meant. I'm just, not anymore as verbose as other ppl when I've been awake for more than 24 hours. So I just said, 'happy cry or sad cry'. I was even cracking a joke earlier where I think maybe Min might have said to himself, "Oh thank Buddha I thought we've really been forgotten." Then he cried. To me, that isn't a totally happy good cry, as I've said to one of my friends. But that doesn't mean that I thought it was a cry wherein Changmin expresses his sadness for losing against the other two artists. I explained it as Min having an emotional overdrive.

Although I didn't think Yunho was mad, I just thought he was really passionate. And that he was trying to keep things together, showing Cassiopeia that everything will be alright.

Oh and I don't think they were fully briefed to expect the worst, I actually thought they never would've expected things to be like this, especially with all the hype and voting like mad and the minor awards handed to them one after the other at the start of the show.

But then again, I'm not them. D: So these are only my interpretations of what happened.

I'm not adverse to the fact that he cried tears of joy. Who would be, right? That'd be really good if it were true. But I'm not going to proclaim it like some gospel, because there are always other possibilities. :| Can't Min have a moment of weakness just like he has a lot of moments of strength? I think Min is as human as any of us. And we don't know how he felt at that moment, or his motives for doing the things he did, because we aren't in his shoes. because we haven't personally been through the same things he has been through. :| That's why I say it's up for interpretation.

This is another case of people ragging on others just because they have different opinions. :/
