Week one of living with Jason has been pretty good, we haven't really fought and things are comfortable :) So that's a relief, not that I don't expect any issues in the future. The company is very nice--my cats think so too--and I am starting to sleep better. The first few days were a little rough with the sleeping.
I'm heading to work in half an hour. It was a really lousy week that included one of my coworkers randomly going off on me because she was in a bitchy mood, my annual review with the boss that I hate, and it was just generally busy. Usually the weekends are calmer, so here's hoping. I am expected to get this big pipette calibration project done soon, so hopefully I can do that today. There just simply hasn't been any time.
I got my first official account of my student loan interest from one lender, and it's way more than I calculated for some reason. So I really don't know how that works. But that means my tax refund should be sizable, which is great. I'm going to pay off my first student loan this month! Of course it was always the tiny one, and there are three more big ones, plus my car loan. But it's definitely progress, and it'll be nice seeing one at $0 when I log into Mint.com. Car loan is next, since that interest isn't tax deductible. And it would feel great to really own my car! Progress is slow but steady .....
