Hello Again... different year.. different location
Hi all.. I know its been way too long. Been through alot in the last few years. Left florida which i cant say that im too happy about. Got myself all wrapped up in some poor habits there. But thats done and been over now for quite some time. Honestly I dont know what the hell happened to me.. I guess I somewhat let myself go. Drugs and partying will truly ruin you. But honestly I can say that ive lived my life up until that point with some incredibly strict morals and never ever was one to let loose much, if that makes any kind of scense. We all make mistakes right? Luckily I have alot of people who love and care for me enough that they believe in me and my abilities and know that im a good person.
Feels so wierd writing about this now.. as i am right back to the old me.. that is the one that doesnt use drugs and is a responsible trustworthy person. I mean i even quit smoking ciggarettes... never drank...and im attempting to rebuild my empire that is.. my career.
Just to recap since my last posts...here is a basic rundown of all thats happened. Lost my job in florida, Got myself wrapped up in drugs.. got myself arrested. sat in jail for about 3 months, got out and moved in to my friends house in florida for about 6 months- 4 of which i was pretty much under community control...(sort of like house arrest. Moved back to the upper east coast, and served out my 2 years of probabtion.
Since ive relocated back to my home town and didnt have anything holding me back from working I started to rebuild my portfolio. New location.. new portfolio. I am also actively looking for agency representation in New York. Worked with a group of really talented photographers in the area and worked on tons of shoots for prints for my new portfolio. Managed to work with a whole bunch of new and upcoming talent... including recording artists, actors, celebritys, and designers as well. They have truly embraced me and recognized me for my hard work and talent which is always nice when your trying to buld up from scratch... I kinda hit rock bottom there for a bit and im trying to get back to where im successfull and thriving again...
Oh.. Did I mention that i got to work with Coco - Ice T's wife for the cover of a magazine? That was officially my second magazine cover. Did makeup for Playboy magazine 4 times, did makeup with Rachel Johnson- actress for CBS's amazing race, worked on a film pilot , and a couple of music videos. Also did makeup backstage for Philadelphia Fashion Week, and New York Fashion week - which was completely insane and high paced.
I think thats about it. Not sure if anyone is going to read this but for some reason i feel a weight being lifted having spoken about it.
