Friday Night, February 3rd.Pics @ Work
Hey guys I worked with some bold primary colors on friday night at the club...
Today was a huge change from thursday night. The club was packed with both customers and dancers equally. I stayed busy until about 4 AM and then i closed up shop and ran home. For this post i have pics of two of the most difficult pigment colors to use in my opinion. I hate using them because i guess im a little too picky, I have to have clean lines,and perfect blending. That stuff gets everywhere, even if you think you dont see it. I tend to do the eyes first then move on to the rest of the makeup. That is absolutely the case when it comes to using these pigments that im talking about. Usually the pigments that are the most vivid and make a velvet texture when applied correctly, are the most difficult to use. These are: Basic red, Blue, Yellow(matte),Black & Darksoul pigments. Using these pigments brings out the worst in my neurosees, but the finished look is usually great. Too great, so great that ill have 20 of my girls asking for it in the next week >:-o! I wouldnt mind having to use it outside of the club for a photoshoot or something... where i have about 1-2 hours for makeup alone...but in the club where i have to cut the makeup to 30min tops... its a true pain to work with.
Its about 11:30 in the morning/afternoon on saturday right now. I got up about an hour ago and realize i have to go the the MAC to pick up some MAC FC,and SF foundation. Im going to try to pick up some more in between shades to make my life a little easier. Cut down the time i custom blend foundations at work.
Tommorrow is the Gala/preview night for MAC that backardi is hosting. I still have to see if one of my alternates will cover for me at work. If not I am sure that big chief will let me buy whatever is in the store from the unreleased Culture Bloom collection that is supposed to be out later this month.
