Every year, for the past few years, several people always forward me the same damn email warning about the Illinois State Police setting up cameras in work zones to capture speeders this July. Except the link in the email is from 2005. Don't they watch the news, read the paper, or even drive the roads? This is old friggin news. Stop sending me the link!
On a related note, the Tri-State has been a fun drive. Dump trucks pulling on and off the road randomly. People going 75 in a 45 zone. Fun times. I've found that the side roads do not get me where I'm going any quicker. So, an hour commute (or more) is the norm now. I used to be able to get to work in 45 minutes. Where's my flying car I was promised in the 50s?
