my day
I'm done with all my classes for the day. Had an Anthropology quiz today and realized that i should have studied how many millions of years ago the different australopithecus species were living. That class is just one huge lectures with hundreds of pages of taking notes. I've already taken 38 pages of notes and it is only the 5th week of school.
Today in orchestra we sight read a Wagnerian opera. There were so many cuts in it that we had several extra pages of cuts. The bad thing was that for all thirteen of us bass players we only had 2 copies of music (i don't know why). I was sharing a stand with paul and patrick and reading the music from 4 ft away. It wasn't hard music--just hard on my eyes.
I miss my Brevard friends. We should all have a reunion. I had one of my best summers there--so many memories. I just keep on replaying things in my mind. I've realized I have a great memory for remembering situations...i can see everything play out like a movie.
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing next summer. I'm thinking this music camp in Santa Barbara called Music Academy of the West. I'm not ready for Tanglewood or Aspen.
Speaking of California, I am really excited for spring break now. I am going to LA and since Jonathan (who's home is there) and I have spring break at the same time we're going to meet up.
Well, i need to do some homework.
