and the shoes are so hot.
after a small disappointment regarding a failed audition, i've managed to land myself a job. i'm not leaving the food hole; this new job will serve as a second job...we'll call it job 2.
job 2 is in north beach. for those of you not familar with north beach, job 2 is a dancing job.
i auditioned on wednesday and worked thursday and last night. thursday, being a general slow night of sorts in this kind of place, was not a good money night. i only made sixty dollars in eight hours. i did, however, get to be on stage a bunch, and i learned how to swing around the pole and slide to the ground. (not a terribly exciting trick, granted, but it's only the beginning.) last night was much better moneywise -- a hundred thirty dollars in the same time. i'm learning a lot, and i know that i'll do really well once i get going. plus, i had one guy promise to come back next week for a v.i.p. session, which makes me a hundred dollars in thirty minutes.

the manager called me into his office last night and told me that he thinks i'm doing really well, and that he thinks i'll make a ton of money as long as i can stay away from the bad habits/attitudes that a lot of the girls get and develop my hustle a bit. he said that he'd really like to have me working saturday, sunday and tuesday nights, which are the big money nights. (tuesday is two-for-one dances all night.)
it's gonna be great. i'm excited. (and if you live here, you should start organizing a big group to come see me...the club's 18+ [nude = no alcohol] so even taylor can come!)
