[Asylum Project] Eight 'til Eleven (Incomplete?)

Sep 17, 2008 23:48

WHO: Axel, Larxene
WHEN: A looong time ago (08.30.08)
WHERE: Larxene's Room (forgot what floor and number)
WHAT: A touching reunion between two Organization members. See how they plot.

The blonde leaned back reclining against her bunk. A wide smirk made rose onto her lips. So VIII was here, which meant it was possible the rest of the organization could be as well. She pulled her kunai from her pockets twirling them around her fingers. Axel was being so compliant. If Larxene could feel disappointment she would have. No matter. She would find a way to make things a little more interesting. If she acted as rashly as she had before then things could end up just the same.

This time she would have to take time to plan. Instead of indulging in her very strong urge to tear his insides out and roast them. No..she would befriend him and THEN take him down. Just like he did her. She would double cross him just the same. Larxene was only sorry Marluxia wasn't around to join in the fun. She would have to make sure to reek enough havoc for the both of them.

For the most part, he was trying to stay up to her standards. Being relaxed was hard to do when an 'old friend' decided to take notice of his arrival. Axel swallowed the 'feeling' of apprehension down as he went up two levels, gloved hands clenched at his sides the whole way up. Taking his time didn't make it any better, and Hall B stretching out before him, there was no going back.

He dealt with her before. He shouldn't be so uppity about her recent post to the system. But he was. Besides, Axel probably knew which emotions she was trying to imitate at the moment, more or less. Maybe he should have sent Demyx up in his place. The door is eventually reached. The Nobody took in a deep breath, eyes rolling upward. "Hey, Larxene. I'm here." He kept a hand on the handle just in case he had to let himself in.

"It's open." Larxene called with a flick of her hand even though she knew it wouldn't be seen. She brought her arms to rest behind her head as she stared at the door. She could almost feel his presence on the other side. It took every ounce of her being to keep still. On the other side of the door was the reason Marluxia's plan failed. Their one mistake was trusting him. She clutched the dagger tight in her hand, drawing a little bit from her fingers. Larxene returned her weapon to its resting place. It wasn't going to be needed...not yet.

A hint of red was seen as the door's handle clunked heavily, the door partially opening before needing another shove. Axel grinned in his usual, 'pleasant' manner, his tall, lanky body moving inward. "It's been a while," he said calmly, leaning against the door as it shut behind him. His grin faltered a little after a pause, a gloved hand gesturing at Larxene. "You're looking...like yourself. Alive." His words were...smooth, but he knew the moment wouldn't last long. He decided to take a step away from the entrance, a little closer to where the blond resided. "So...what's all this...'catching up' business?" Axel asked with a smirk.

Larxene was up like lightning. No pun intended. She circled around the redhead. "No thanks to you. Or don't you remember the part you played in my demise?" She asked running a gloved finger from his shoulder to the area above his elbow. She envisioned herself taking him out right then but it would be so much more fun if she played with him a bit first. Besides she was still trying to decide on the most painful way to kill him. Maybe if she waited long enough Marluxia would actually be able to come and join in on the fun. He was just as betrayed as she after all.

"But kind and caring person that I am I decided to forgive you. A fresh start. And that's what all is "catching up business" is about. Though I suggest you don't dare cross me again. Next time I won't be as forgiving." Larxene smirked. She didn't really expect him to believe her. It was well known amoung the organization that Larxene liked to hold a grudge. But mind and word games were her specialty and before her death Axel was of the few members who played along.

He had that response coming. Axel stayed quiet as Number XII talked, the touch receiving a slight flinch from his body. A natural reaction, really; it had nothing to do with thinking about his impending doom if he ever crossed her again. The past events were memorized all right - everything from the earliest plans to the inevitable failure within Castle Oblivion. Green eyes settled upon Larxene when she came around again, the smirk still present on his face.

The taller Nobody placed a hand on his hip casually, tilting his head forward a few degrees. "I figured that much," he replied cooly. "No worries, Larxene. I wouldn't dream of doing that again." Not unless he had to, he thought. Yes, her grudge-holding ability was also something he wanted to avoid. Of course, there would probably be a slim chance of that actually working.

Her grinned widened, quite satisfied with Axel's reaction. In fact she lived for them. Though she didn't usually get the best reactions from Axel, ones that radiated with fear. Pawns like the memory witch were much better for that. But Axel raised a different kind of excitement in her, possibly because she had actual incentive to want to hurt him.

She withdrew her kunai once again twirling them in her fingers before raising her hand up to Axel's face. She ran the tip from his temple to his chin affectionately. "Then you're smarter than you look." She cooed as she watched the red liquid run down his chin. "Looks like we'll get along just as well as before. As soon as you figure out how you can make it up to me." The blonde informed pocketing the dagger and leaning back agains the wall to cross her arms. It would be interesting to see what he could come up with. Perhaps helping her pull something over on Demyx. It was always more fun with an accomplice. And Demyx had been stomping on her nerves as of recent.

Axel's eyelids fluttered briefly, the point of the kunai sinking in just enough to cause a tingling sensation. And it was quite a large cut. He was going to have to clean it up later. His stance became rigid as she continued, eying the female Nobody went over her plans. He stuck out his tongue in an attempt to clean off the blood that stained the area near his mouth, but it was useless.

"That's quite a challenge you put out," he said with a short laugh, the smirk fading. "Well...let's see..." He also folded his arms, ignoring the twinges of pain the best he could. It was annoying. "Eh...I'm sure you've caught up to some of the recent logs people have been putting up. Can't really do much to them unless you add to their pain, ya know?" Sadistic methods. It had to work.

"You look a little pale, Axel dear~ Need to take a seat?" She asked. She had to admit this was going to be very intriguing. Much more intriguing than just doing away with him. The nobody used her thumb to wipe a bit of blood off his face. She brought it to her lips smirking.

"You expected any less?" She replied walking to the other side of the room and plopping down on the mattress. "I see.." She kicked up her legs placing her arms behind her head. "Go on. I'm listening. Anyone particular in mind?"

That one gesture sent a chill down his spine. She's good. Still, he fought to keep the overall cool composure he was use to showing. "Maybe I do," Axel shrugged, taking the only chair available. His gaze stayed on Larxene as she sat back in her original spot, his fingers also trying to wipe off the rest of the blood left over.

"Besides just having Demyx to deal and mess with, we also have Sora here. There's also a guy called...Haptism? He's been doing some violent things lately, but I think he was locked up." The smirk returned, vaguely twitching. "Of course, that won't do much good if he's stuck. I don't know who else is up and about this place, but there are many. Some can be easy targets, I'm sure." Keeping up with who's who and reading through the posts was hard. Axel wrinkled his nose after a pause. "...I still think the grunts and nurses need to be shoved or something," he added.

"Missed a spot",she teased wiping at the side of her mouth. Larxene paused taking in his words. She glanced up at him at the mention of Sora. Her grin grew wider resembling that of the Chesire cat. "The key-wielder is here?" That lucky little brat. She let her guard down and he took advantage and plowed the keyblade right through the hole where her heart should be. She clenched her fist behind her head. Perfect. Axel was turning out to be quite helpful.

"Though how am I supposed to know you're not tricking me again? I think you'll have to prove your loyalty~"

He touched his skin once more, probably spreading the remaining fresh blood instead of getting rid of it. He did catch a glimpse of Larxene's sudden glee from staring at his fingertips, a huffed chuckle escaping his lips in amusement. "Yeah, I talked to him a while ago. He still seems the same, if not a little morose." That happy-go-lucky demeanor could only go so far. "Still misses his friend...that guy. Riku," he added as an afterthought, still unsure of how much the silver-haired one was missed.

Axel crossed a leg over his knee, pretty laid-back as he sat comfortably in the chair. Dang. With all of the information he was spilling (useless or not), he couldn't avoid her impending wrath and the consequences connected with it. He exhaled, closing his eyes in thought. "Look, I'll even set up something if you want me to. Stir up some trouble just to see how they all react." His hands waved in small circles. "If you want to do something, I can always lead 'em to you." Unless she wanted him to do all of the work, that was.

"The orginal to the replica. Hm" She murmured, the gears in her head already setting in motion, thinking about possible plots. Now she was intriuged. "What about the memory witch?" Or any of the other organization members? Larxene resisted that question. It was likely Axel would have told her if there were any others besides herself, him, and Demyx. Things were easier this way. But then again Larxene had never really liked the easy way. Part of the excitement was the struggle.

"If you want." She said nonchalantly flicking her wrist. Though she did like the idea that wasn't exactly what she meant by proving his loyalty. It would have to do for now, at least until she figured how she could use him in her plans.

A nod was simple and to the point. He didn't need to go into great detail about Riku, anyway. "Namine isn't here," he said plainly, eyes partially lidded as they lifted to settle back on Number XII. Thankfully she wasn't, he thought, knowing how much more the poor girl would go through if she /did/ end up here. And he wouldn't care if the other members existed within these walls. Heck, Axel didn't want to deal with some of them as it was. Most likely, the 'feeling' was mutual.

His hands folded neatly in his lap, a small shrug following the motion. "All right, then," he replied while jutting out his lower lip. He knew he didn't completely satisfy Larxene's expectations, but it was difficult trying to read every little thought the crazy woman had. Being used was all too familiar, and being use to it never helped his situation. However, being a double agent was rewarding in its own way. "...Anything else ya need, sweetheart?" he asked as he tilted his head back, grinning playfully.

"Pity." Larxene murmured sitting up and swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. "She was such a fun pet. A pool full of fear." Larxene sighed glancing back at the redhead. "I suppose I can easily find others." She ran her hand through her blonde locks, eyeing the bookshelf in the corner. Things had been rather dull as of recent. There was something about tormenting strangers that just wasn't as fun as tormenting people you already knew.

"But I am rather bored. If you really want to be useful you could find some way to entertain me."

Green eyes shifted from Larxene to the floor. Hearing her say that much didn't change any viewpoints for Axel; she definitely was the same, if not a little more crotchety, in his opinion. His leg was starting to lose feeling. "Right," he answered plainly, uncrossing said leg while he was at it. "I know your idea of entertainment includes the pain and suffering of some innocent person. We don't have much of that in supply." Or did they? He then sat up, rising from his seat to stretch. "But...I'll do my best," Number VIII reassured her with a confident smirk. He needed to take care of things quickly before everything was thrown into chaos.
