I just got done with some of my holiday shopping. And not only am I NOT done, I have to take back at least one thing. It seems my dad decided to go out and buy for himself the 'sonic blade' carving knife he wanted. Who in the hell buys something during the month of December and giving to himself? My step mom and going to have to take away his money, check book, and credit cards next year for the month of November/December so we'll be able to buy him birthday and Christmas presents. I could smack him.
And now I don't know what to do for my sister. I was going to get her an accessory for her LG Chocolate phone, something like a wireless headset or the music speakers. Then I find out today that my sister (a freshman in HS) has been suspended from riding the bus for three days this month for various reasons. Times like this are when I'm prissy and emphasize the fact that she's my HALF sister cause if she's gonna be an idiot then I'm only going to be partly related to an idiot. I saw the lumps of coal at the store for naughty people. I think I'll buy her half a ton.
At least my mom and step mom are done. I only need to wrap their gifts. I got my mom a set of eight green tinted glasses from Pier One cause she seems to break them faster then I ever did as a child. Must be who I got it from. For my step mom, I bought roughly a dozen small picture frames since she wanted to a cluster of intimate family photos above her buffet in the hall. I've helped her a few times with it, but it's never been finished and some of the frames she had were get old and (in her words) icky. So I bough new ones and hopefully will have time to help her finish framing and then hanging all those photos.
Any suggestions for little cheap things to get coworkers? Cause I'm at a loss. I know my old stand by is Fannie May candy cause I HATE giving gift cards. We'll see. I still have a little while.
