so i officially moved in to my new house about a week ago. i haven't had time to update since i have no internet at all. i am at my aunt's house writing.
my room is awesome. i have decided no to give my room a theme at all. i am just going to make it more adult like. without the bulletin board with all of the picture and no more of the tigger stapler sitting on my dresser. yesterday night we went back to our old house to clean it up for the open house that was today. i had to shampoo the carpet and take the hard drive, cd burner, dvd player and floppy disk drive out of the computer so that we cold throw it away. why we need the cd burner, dvd player and floppy disk drive, i don't know but my dad was like, "we paid for it. i don't want to just throw it away". this just proves to me that he is a pack rat. every thing that my mom, me and my aunts had decided that was trash, my dad would fight about and take it back into the garage. eventually me and my one aunt loaded it into her Jeep and she threw it away at the dumpster at her apartment. we went furniture shopping again. this time for me. i am getting a new bedroom set. a nice iron and wood one. it's pretty. my sister is getting new furniture too, but it costs more then mine. she has a twin bed, i have a queen bed. my set has 4 pieces and hers has two. me nad my mom fought about how much her stuff costs. turns out that my mom is the one picking out the furniture and my sister has no say in it.
today was BBQ day. i had a great burgur with some grilled chicken and for dessert was chocolate cake. my uncle inhaled 5 pieces of cake and my sister had 3. they are crazy. i had fun though. it feels nice to see my family on a regular schedule. before we met every sunday. now its like we are lucky to have time in our schedule to see each other. my one uncle, the cool one, had to move to california because of his job at cingular. i talk to him on the phone and he's excited to come back home for two weeks in october for Ramadan because he's tired of mac and cheese. i told that i would be happy sending him recipies of some home cooking, but he decline claiming that he's not a good cook. i can't wait to see him. it'll be fun.
Tony {go back a few entries and you'll find out who i am talking about} is coming back soon. he has to take his final medical exams then he's back in the country for sure. his parents keep saying that i remind them of Tony. i don't know how. he's a guy, i'm a girl. he's 19, i'm 15. whatever. his parents are really sweet. his younger brother is about my brothers'age (9) and he told me that i remind him of Tony too. i think that is freaky.
i have to go. my parents are standing outside. oblivious to the fact that i am not standing with thim. i don't know how you can forget your own child. that's kinda funny.
