Wow David makes an entry!!
Yes yes i know...i never use this program...LOL!...but i told andy i wouldnt use it much if he gave it to me and he still insisted. Anyways its been a rather eventful past couple of days, and i promised john that i'd make an entry....so here it is! This entry is dedicated to john, without whom it would not have been possible...(or at least i wouldntve made it) Haha sorry if the entry sounds like an english paper or something....ive been doing way too many of those lately. Awhile ago andy declared that he was going up to PUC for a weekend and asked me if i wanted to go with him, and at first the idea didn't seem very appealing to me. I thought about how far away it was, and how short the amount of time was that we would be spending there. I had already decided that i wouldn't go, but then john found out and used all of his finely tuned convincing skills to get me into going. Wow johns convincing me to do alot of things lately...haha anyways last friday we packed up our things and headed off to PUC. The weather was really great because i had been choking on smoke for most of the week but on friday it was really clear and crisp outside. We picked up sergeh and stopped a bunch of times for food and restroom stops. I kept on having to go to the bathroom really badly...i dunno what was wrong with me! My bladder must have shrunk from the cold or something...There werent many big events that happened on the drive up but it was pretty fun overall, with some funny conversations and good music. Anyways, we got to PUC at about 9:30, and apparantly we weren't expected until around 11. Andy was supposed to call john when we were getting close but he forgot to, so when we went up to johns room and knocked on the door there was no smiling face to greet us. Serge, who was the only one with signal on his cell, tried calling just about all the numbers for people we knew at PUC, but to no avail. We decided to just stand around the car and hope one of the people passing by on their way to the dorm would be john. After awhile i guess the cold won over the cowardice, and we decided to go exploring to find somebody we knew. Inside the church lobby we spotted terrance, who was a welcome sight. He directed us to jill and kristen, who were in the campus center getting hot chocolate or something. We came up behind them and surprised them, and got a very warm and excited greeting. It felt really cool to see them again after all that time, and it sort of felt like they were never gone. We went with them to the lobby of the girls dorm (i forgot the name) where john angela and malcom were waiting. They were laughing really hard about something, and i was really confused. Then they told the story about what they were laughing at, but its in everybody elses journal so yea i'm not gonna type it out. We stayed and talked to everybody for a while, and then we went to johns room to get settled in. After talking for a while more, we all drifted off to sleep. In the morning we went to sabbath school and church, and after not coming to any conclusions on what we should do next, we just chilled in some room that i only know by "the glendale room". We then killed time until dinner, but after dinner the real fun began. We played a game called sardines, in which one person hides, and everybody else tries to find that one person. When someone finds the hiding person they hide with them, until nobody is left looking. Rules were bent left and right, but it ended up being a very fun game. Lots of places we went looking were scary though! I think when we looked in the totally empty and dark church it was the scariest, because all the lights were off and as we were walking we heard the door opening and closing and yea...it was scary but i guess u had to be there. After that everybody sort of went their seperate ways, so i followed john and malcom to malcoms room. It was pretty nice and i like malcoms computer (the lights in the tower flash with the base...its so cool!) We watched some of malcoms other movies and talked...hes really good with making those movies, they remind me a lot of lances movies. Anyways then we settled into johns room to go to sleep. We had planned to leave at 11 the next morning, but when i woke up it was already 11. Andy was gone, and after a while we discovered that he had sneaked away to breakfast so we found him in the caf with jill. The rest of the group trickled in over about an hour long period, but unfortunately malcom didnt make it...sorry we never got to say bye! After eating breakfast we met the girls outside of their dorm for last pictures and goodbyes. The drive down was mostly uneventful, except that andy got a ticket because he was going 106 mph. The cop 'just' put 95 down on the ticket though. The details on that story are in andys journal so yea. I guess thats all for my annual journal entry...LOL jkjk ttyL!
