I have recently decided that male/female friendships are for the birds. My new philosophy is that males should be friends with males and females with females. If you meet a girl and see potential, just be straight up about it and let em know you don't have any intent on bein buddies forever. I broke off one friendship recently that I let go on for way too long. I was friends only because I hoped that it would be more someday, I had no desire to just be friends with her, though. I should have been honest from the get-go instead of waiting so long down the road. Anyway, I have had my opportunity to do quite a bit of venting on this topic, so I don't feel any reason to write more about it now.
