Having verged (is that a word?) at a funeral today it's my sister's wedding on Saturday- it's all happening, but no births yet.

Other than this week it's been a bit of a quiet Summer so far- less said about unemployment the better- but it's kinda good because I have a feeling the final year at Keele is going to be quite busy, if not chaotic. Other than studies I've got Peer Advising and possibly Mentoring to do and I was thinking of joining some vaguely sporting club to keep fit (or get fit rather) plus I need to apply for Postgrad degrees and various internships I am hoping to do next Summer. Tires me out just thinking about it. Oh and not to mention my vague hopes of cooking properly despite the lack of an oven. Need to purchase a few utensils but there are plans that involve not being completely reliant on Sainsburys Microwave Meals for all my nutritional needs!

Lets all spend a moment now thinking of poor Michael Owen who's knee wobble was quite disturbing to see. Do the hopes of England's progression to the quarter-finals go with him? Theo Walcott, no pressure mate....
