Shake your rump-ah
I am absolutely flummoxed and flabbergasted (two great words) to learn that Matisyahu, the Hasidic reggae/rap singer, actually has a video in rotation at MTV. Granted, the only times I have seen it were at ungodly hours in the morning, due to my inexplicable decision to stay up all night last night watching bad movie on HBO, but still. There is blatantly Hasidic reggae music on MTV. I can't decide if that's incredibly awesome or deeply, deeply disturbing.
Ah well, at least I made it to the gym today, among other productive activities. Now, to shower and do laundry and possibly even work on my personal statement (the one that's for the law school apps, the first of which is due, oh, February 1). Tonight, Mozart at the Kennedy with my Stephanie.
edit: So that Melissa does not kill me, I must specify that one of the movies I was watching was D2: Mighty Ducks 2, and it is not so much a bad movie. Plus, Melissa gets 80s geek points for correctly identifying phrases from said movie at 7 in the morning.
