The goings on
So I read some disturbing news on the LJ. Nick Noble, a frontman of a local band, passed away in a car crash. Patrons of the local scene are looking to put together a concert in his memory. It is projected to happen on August 15 or 19. I think that everyone from Westbrook that digs local music and has been to a show or two really should make an effort to go. Our town has a huge number of people that support the local scene and I think that we should join the community in mourning. Also, the line up is looking promising....Kudostoriley is said to be on the list of bands. Anyways, summer is looking up with Halifax and Lance's party coming up around the bend. I am also looking forward to "tarping"...whenever that goes through.
Other than that I hope you all are watching out for....
Hear Ovus.....I am hoping that Andy, Lance share my vision of starting this up in the fall....I hope that with our friends in Westbrook we can gain some quick support!
