He could smell it.
The stench of another hollow night of sex, drugs, alcohol and pain bled through the confines of his car. His grip tightened on the steering wheel as yet another tattered face peered on his windshield, desperately knocking on his window as he continued to drive along.
"Why the hell did I agree to this."
He spat, hitting the steering wheel with his shaking hand.
As he pulled the car to a stop, in a wretched alley behind one of the most notorious clubs in the neighborhood, he took a deep breath before taking his gun out of the glove compartment and freeing himself of his seatbelt.
"She better show, or else..."
Gun hooked to his waist, Detective Park Yoochun stepped out of his car and into the awaiting darkness.
