BSG Musings
So after episode 4.07, "Guess What's Coming to Dinner" last week and a two week wait between episodes, I'm going to take a poke at guessing where BSG is going. All my guesses are pretty much pure speculation on my part.

- Gaeta Sings - "He sings!" says Anders. Implication: Gaeta is one of the final five, or the last one. Music seems inseprarably tied to Cylons and Cylon revelation. My guess is that Gaeta is in fact the final of the final five, but not the last Cylon we discover.
- "Jump!" - Where did the base ship jump to? I'm not sure we'll find out in two weeks, unless it's at the very end of the episode. My guess: Earth. Why? Roslin (like Moses in the bible) will get to see Earth (the Promised Land) but not "enter" it. The base ship will plot its location, take pictures and data, but the will have to jump back to the fleet to attack the Resurrection Hub or all agreements are off. Will the hybrid make the jump? My guess is they will unplug it again, and use another means to jump back to the fleet. Either using their jerry-rigged FTL, or another hybrid: Kara.
- Natalie 6 - Is she dead? My guess is no. Next episode's preview shows her lying with her eyes open, a tube of some kind running across her chest. This implies to me that she lives, at least long enough to have a vision; of what? The final five? Probably.
- Tigh and Caprica 6 - I'm guessing from the preview here... she's pregnant.
- Tigh and Adama - Adama finds out Tigh has been boinking Caprica; Tigh responds by smacking the boss. Tigh and Caprica will escape in a raptor, and that's when Galatica will jump, to chase them down. With the fleet left on it's own with no President or Galactica...
- Lee Adama - Also from the preview; he raises his hand to take the oath of office as Tom Zarek looks on. He is being sworn in as Vice President. Since Roslin is gone and presumed kidnapped, Zarek assumes the presidency and nominates Lee as VP. This will last until Roslin dies of her cancer, then Zarek will die in a battle of some kind and Lee Adama will end up as President of the Colonies.
- Athena - She will end up in the bring for shooting Natalie 6. WIth her on ice and Helo gone with President on the Base Star, she will ask Tyrell to take care of Hera. Tory will volunteer to ahem, "help".
- Baltar - He's on the basestar and in Athena and Lora's dreams/visions. My guess is he's the one that will be able to unite the humans and cylons. How, I don't know yet. He will eventually make a speech that starts with "Blessed are Cheesemakers..."
