Sad news
Sadly, the deaths of a couple of SF icons have been reported.
Patrick McGoohan of "The Prisoner" fame has died in L.A. at age 80:

Ironically, there is a new re-make of the series in the works at AMC. Jim Caviziel and Ian McKellan are set to star.
And Ricardo Montalban has passed away as well, at age 88. genre fans wil all no doubt remember him as Khan Noonian Singh from Star Trek, but let's not forget he also played the kindly circus owner in 1971's Escape From the Planet of the Apes.
