It's been a while...
So this has been my first real post in quite some time. I always tend to write a fairly substantial post then, i always delete it or close the window before it's ever posted. Whatever....
Things going on: Sorry No Ferrari went through a couple bumps in the road. But I'm really excited about some of the new stuff we got going on. As of now we will be recording hopefully June for our next record. It will be a four song E.P. and for the most part it's almost done, but I think we are want a few songs to choose from. I definetly think the new direction we are going in, has a little bit more... well... just that..... direction. I think it will be more accesible to people's tastes musically. I can tell, more people are getting familiar with our name. As of right now, we got a few studios we are looking at, but i thinkt he front runner is the dudes at Zero Return at the moment. King Kong Vs. T-rex material is getting done. Haven't practiced in a while, because of school, but hopefully, i can get something on tape, so in case it never becomes serious, there is at least something I can show people.
- I'm pretty sure I have the best girlfriend in the world. I love her. She treats me better than anyone. I don't deserve her. I went to see her in athens and she made me the best dinner anyone could have ever made me, with a nice bottle of wine, and an amazing desert. I think i need to keep her around for awhile. Things couldn't be better between us. We went downtown Athens just the two of us and drank the night away. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
I have some of the most amazing friends right now. You all know who yall are...I can't wait to party it up with them soon. Sorry I missed the bash this weekend everyone. I know it wasn't as fun since I wasn't there.
Things I have been into lately: Newcastle, halo, the new angels and airwaves song, my girlfriend, writing songs, partying, spilling spaghetti and peoples floor, throwing peanut butter all over peoples wall, doing back flips off of my bed, acoustic music, the new amsterdams, Minus the bear in May, my girlfriend, tasting good beers, jamming with mangus, new sorry no ferrari record, ozma, downtown athens, record shopping, partying, partying, keeping a good head on my shoulders, and eliminating anyone in my life that brings negativity to it...
I hate people that don't take others points of view into consideration. I made a big change in my life tonight. It was for the better and I'm happy about it. I like the people I can actually be myself around...
I'm moving to Athens on August 1st to start going to school there (as long as I'm accepted.) I was real skeptical of going there at first. But I think this is the right decision for me. it will be a growing experience for me, and I think I'll learn more about myself, and just everything in general. I'm moving in with Jeff. I love it there. It's not too close to home, but not too far away. I'll still be home often. It's not like I see everyone during the week anyways, but I'll definetly still keep it real. Everything I need will be in walkiing distance. Fuck......
I can't believe a fucking cartoon is getting this much press coverage.... yeah, let's get outraged when a cartoon is published, but not when the same fucking people chuck grenades into schools filled with children... that's ok....
I need some new music..... I hate how shitty music is these days. All i can listen to is the New Amsterdams these days...
