My day at school today was pretty decent....
Students Helping Students this morning. Had to put these shape things in bags. It took the whole time.
Math- Notes on 9.4. Started our homework.
Lifeskills- Watched "Rudy" again. It's kind of boring for me because we own the movie at home, and I've seen it once before. We're not going to watch it tomorrow because the Motiv8ors won't be there because of their science fair. So, we should probably finish the movie on Monday.
Spanish- Talked about o-ue stem changes. Did some pages in our packet.
Lunch- Fine. Reem and Amy practiced their science fair speech. It's really good girls, you'll do great tomorrow....don't worry! ♥
Advanced Reading- Finished MUGshot sentences. Corrected the MUGshots. Tomorrow is the weekly MUGshot paragraph quiz. I hope it's easy. Took the Vocabulary Unit 9 test. I only missed 3, that's not too bad for not studying. (She didn't tell us it was going to be today.) Watched a little more of The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman movie.
P.E.- In-line skating again. People did the limbo, races, and the tag game again, but Caroline and I just skated around the circle, trying to get out of the way of people going really fast the wrong way. Lol, fun stuff!
Advanced Language Arts- Finished The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman movie. Started thinking about what project I want to do on the book/talked the rest of the period.
Social Studies- Notes on Jesus and Christianity. Finished like 10 minutes early so just talked the rest of the period.
Science- Did a lab on taste buds. We had to put blue food coloring on our tongue. It tasted kind of funky, but it was funny to see everyone's mouth (and some faces....people got carried away) all blue. Hehe, I love that class. Umm yeah finished like 15 minutes early so Jennifer and I talked about MiniTown the rest of the time. 8-)
That was my decent day. Hope everyone else's was good too.
Plans for tomorrow: School. Then after school I'm walking to Michelle's house with Kimberly! We're gunna hang out there until 6, and then walk over to school for the dance. Should be lots and lots of fun! ♥
